The Thais celebrate 3 New Years every year – ours, the Chinese and their own. They know how to celebrate.

Because not everyone can get away for the full 12 nights we have designed the trip so that you could arrive a couple of days late or leave a couple of days early and not miss the tournament. There are so many different ways of getting to Bangkok that we have decided not to include flights in the price of the trip which leaves you free to book your own or contact our office and we will give you all the options.

On arrival in Bangkok it is a 2.5 hrs transfer down to Hua Hin. The Dusit Thani Hua Hin will welcome us as ever with open arms. Set right on the beach and just a few minutes from the golf courses and only 15 mins from town it is a superb place to beat the winter blues.

We will be playing 5 rounds of golf at  Banyan, Black Mountain and Springfield. 1 Am-Am followed by 72 holes stableford. We can book you plenty of optional golf if you want.

Hua Hin has great shopping, superb restaurants and wonderful night life. We organise our own shuttle bus into town every night.

NEW YEARS EVE PARTY

The Dusit’s New Year’s Eve party is considered the best in Hua Hin. It takes place in the gardens and the staff put on a magnificent show which is reputed throughout Thailand. Although alcohol is not officially included Greencard will ensure you don’t go dry!!

The trip is designed so you fly out of UK on 26th Dec.  You could of course come earlier and because the golf doesn’t start until the morning of 29th Dec you could fly out on 27th Dec or even overnight on 28th and still be in time to play. Conversely we play the final round of the tournament on Thursday 6th Jan and so you could leave straight after the prize giving and fly home overnight to land on Friday morning ready for work.

Those who have no work to go to could join us for 5 nights (or more) in Chiang Mai where we will be playing golf on three of Northern Thailand's top courses – Highland, Royal Chiang Mai and Ghassan Khuntan – and staying in the bustling town walking distance from the Night Market. You could even go there and then return to Hua Hin with Thailand 2.  See Thailand Two for details.
